Fall Aspen

Natalie and Eli were about to set off on the adventure of marriage and wanted to be sure that their stationery expressed their personality. They thought of this process as “The Adventure Begins”!

This Colorado mountain-inspired suite began with aspen trees and golden aspen leaves for their fall wedding. We highlighted the invitation with yellow and purple which were colors that were incorporated throughout their wedding. We also created a lovely aspen backband to hold all the invitation pieces together.

For their wedding day, all their guests’ escort cards were laser-cut yellow aspen leaves that were hung on jute twine. We laser-cut Rocky Mountain animals for their table numbers and engraved the animal name on each for those guests not as familiar with the critters of Colorado. We used “The Adventure Begins” as a favor tag and laser-cut cake topper for the couple. We also made a keepsake laser-cut and engraved wooden version of their invitation for them.

Just about one year later, we were asked to create a thank you note for baby boy Ohlhausen who was about to arrive! We used the look of the wedding stationery, added a little bundle dropping from the sky, and of course added “The Adventure Continues” to signal the arrival of this new bundle of joy!
