Platypus (noun): a small, aquatic, egg-laying monotreme (ornithorhynchus anatinus) of Australia and Tazmania having webbed feet, a tail like that of a beaver, a sensitive bill resembling that of a duck.
Platypus Papers (awesome): a small, land-based, family-owned business specializing in unique, custom stationery and personal wedding collections, often made from unexpected combinations of materials and supplies.
Laney Hall (fabulous): a short, sweet paper addict. Seriously, she has issues. She has a love for all things creative that can be done with paper and has found that there are a myriad of additional materials that can be combined to create some beautiful and unique stationery and decor items. She believes that everything we send out to our clients is a gift from us to them and we hope that it is received in kind. She is also a Colorado native and a goofball. She finds that a little silly and lots of laughs helps fuel our creation. We have an open door policy so please come say hello!
Joel Hall (nifty): a short, sweet maker, who loves to think outside the box (which he scarcely perceives) to create unique solutions and styles for our customers. He grew up in Boulder, Colorado, with the Rocky Mountains watching over, and worked in Software and Transportation before finding his true calling: solving tricky and difficult stationery puzzles. He believes in quality, timeliness, and unexpected joy. Joel is completely normal, and he wrote this page.
At Platypus Papers, we believe in creating.
